We have four different room types:
Standard Double Rooms - Sleeps 2 pax | Private hot/cold shower, Air-conditioning, work desk.
Premium Family Rooms - Sleeps 4 pax | Private bathroom with hot/cold shower, Air-conditioning, work desk, open wardrobe.
Family Bungalow - Sleeps 4 pax | Two bedrooms, private bathroom with hot/cold shower, Air-conditioning, open wardrobes, private dining, living, and kitchen/
Dormitory Bunk Rooms - Sleeps 6 or 8 pax | Private bathrooms with 2 hot/cold showers and 2 toilets, Air-conditioning.

Yes. Depending on availability of extra mattresses, we can provide additional mattresses. Additional costs applicable per guest, price depending on room type.

Yes. For pets, we provide cooling raised pet beds in three different sizes, as well as ceramic water and food bowls.
Too much shedding may incur additional cleaning costs. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals and ensuring they are looked after. Pet owners are responsible for their pets actions, Kawayan Hostel accepts no responsibility. All pets should be fully vaccinated.

Yes. We can accomodate large groups and leasing of the entire hostel. We can accomodate up to 44 base pax and 60 total pax including additional mattresses. Depending on availability, we can also assist in organising and running group banquets and events.

Yes. If you’re booking directly with the hostel we offer discounted rates for multiple day stays. Further discounts are offer for longer stays.

Great. Most of our guests score our wifi super high. We have varying speeds across two different wifi networks from 50-200 Mbps, with speed depending on user activity.

Yes. We have a collection of security cameras running 24/7. We are also a gated hostel. All guests are required to ensure the gate is closed when entering or departing.
All of our rooms have private locks. We also have a secure luggage storage room.

Yes. We have filtered drinking water provided and replenished each day at our drinking stations. You will find these in the common kitchen and the family bungalow (if you are staying there).

No. We kindly ask that you leave the hostel to smoke or vape. A smoking station with cigarette bin is provided outside the hostel.

No. Like most hostels in the Philippines, we don’t provide toiletries. It helps us keep our rates budget-friendly.
For emergency toilet paper and other toiletries contact our staff for paid supplies, or we can direct you to the nearest store.

No. Unfortunately we are only a small hostel and do not have restaurant or catering facilities.

Yes. We use a trusted local laundry service provider.

Yes. We can arrange shared van or private airport pickup and drop-offs.
• Pickup & Dropoff : ₱400 each way or
• Private Van: from ₱2,000 (max 5 pax)Please contact us at least 24 hours before your arrival time to arrange airport transfers with our preferred providers.

Yes. Through our business partners Siargao Motorbike Rentals that operates directly out the front of our hostel. They have a varied range of bikes available and offer surfboard rack attachments.

Yes. Contact our team to make a request however we cannot guarantee availability of local drivers - this will vary greatly.
Tuktuk hire - You can also hire our tuktuk and drive it yourself! Drive-it-yourself Tuktuk is ₱1,500 per day.

No. But our staff may be able to direct you to a provider. Siargao is best explored by motorcycle and we strongly suggest hiring one if possible.

Yes. We have on-street parking only. Street parking is available on first come first serve basis and we cannot reserve public spaces.

Yes. We have bag drop.
This is available to guests who arrive early and need a place to leave their bags prior to check-in. Your bags are left in a secure room however, we strongly suggest you take your valuables with you as we do not accept responsibility for any loss or damages.

Arriving before 12 pm - additional fee may be applicable.
Arriving before 8 am - we strongly suggest booking an additional night

You will need to contact us so we can arrange self check-in and provide you with instructions.

After entering our front gate, proceed directly to the right, where you will find our reception area.
Scan our check-in QR code and complete your check-in form. Valid photo ID is required. Passports are required for all international guests.
If our staff are busy please nudge them by contacting them directly.
We will show you to your room and provide a key.
If you are checking in late you will need to let us know ahead of time, contact our friendly team here.

Let our staff know you are leaving and report any damage or concerns. Either find one of our onsite team members or contact our team via phone.
Drop your key in the key box at reception.

Yes. We have a great network of trusted providers who we schedule our guest tours with. We have four main tours that most visitors to Siargao have at the top of their must-do list, including:
Tri-Island Tour - Visit Naked Island, Guyam Island, and Daku Island.
Sugba Lagoon + Road Tour - Visit Sugba Lagoo, Coconut Farm Lookout, Maasin River, and Coconut Road.
Sohoton Cove + Jellyfish Lake Tour - Visit Bucas Grande Island including Sohoton Cove, Tojoman Jellyfish Lake Sanctuary, Hagukan Luminous Cave, and Magkukuob Water Cave.
Land tour - Visit Cloud 9, Coconut Mountain View, Coconut Road, Secret Beach, General Luna Boulevard.

Yes. We are in a quiet area of the town centre, General Luna. We are far enough away from the main road to have a quiet hostel but close enough to walk and checkout the best local spots.
