⚠️ Electricity ‘Brownouts’
Siargao Island’s electricity grid is still unstable following damage from Typhoon Odette.
Because of this, electricity to all homes and businesses cuts out from time to time. Luckily, we are one of the few budget accommodations that has backup generators.
Please note:
Generators will be turned on after 30 minutes of continuous power outage. Generators will only turn on if your air-con is turned off. Unfortunately generators make noise.

Minimising carbon emissions with solar powered outdoor lights, motion sensor air-conditioning in our new rooms, encouraging our guests to switch of electrics and reuse towels, and providing filtered water stations.
Facilitating resource efficiency by encouraging use of bidet hoses to our guests and composting kitchen waste.
Ensuring our local community thrives by hiring local people and providing them with healthcare plans, and promoting local charities and providers.

Like most hostels, we don’t provide toiletries. It helps us keep our rates budget-friendly. For emergency toilet paper and other toiletries contact our staff.

Please do not use towels as mats or foot rugs.
₱400 Replacement Fee for heavily stained towels.
Linen replacement available for stays of 3 days or longer.
